Electrical Installation & Maintenance
We carry out general electrical maintenance services such as fault finding and associated remedial works, electrical testing and certification at both domestic and commercial premises. The A.C.E. Group is a NAPIT registered company.
PAT — Portable Appliance Testing
Carried out for appliances plugged into a power outlet to test for electrical faults, handled by one of our fully qualified engineers. A report is generated and submitted to the client. This service is also required for rental accommodation.
EICR — Electrical Installation Condition Report
This formal document, which has superseded the old Periodic Inspection Report, is produced following an assessment of the electrical installation within a property by our registered, fully qualified electricians. The thorough inspection includes power points, switches, light fittings, consumer units and the general state of the wiring.
Electrical Fault Finding
Always carried out by our qualified, highly experienced engineers. Faults can be as simple as a defective power point, fused spur, light fitting or switch, or more serious such as a faulty consumer unit or defective wiring. Whatever the issue, we can trace, diagnose and remedy the problem.
Low-Voltage Light Fittings & Transformers
Low-voltage lights are used in bathrooms and throughout a property. Sometimes, when a burnt-out lamp is replaced and the light still does not work, the transformer used to reduce the voltage also needs replacement — something our engineers will identify and resolve.
Fire & Smoke Alarms, Security & Electric Heating
We test, maintain and service fire and smoke alarm systems and security systems, install new systems and intercoms, and can advise on electric heating — such as an electric combi boiler with radiators, or an immersion cylinder with panel heaters — surveying your property to recommend the most efficient option.
Tests, Maintenance & Certificates
We carry out electrical testing and produce the relevant documentation, undertake PAT testing, and can upgrade electrical installations to comply with current regulations and certify the same. EICR pricing is subject to the size of the premises — please see our Rates page.
